What we hear from practices

Challenges we see

Chasing client documents

Year-end means chasing bank statements, receipts and signed engagement letters by email. Files arrive late, in the wrong format or twice, and someone has to log what is outstanding.

Repetitive admin and reconciliations

Staff re-key data between client emails, spreadsheets and practice software, and match transactions by hand. Skilled people spend hours on rule-based work every month.

AI use without a policy

Some of your team already use ChatGPT, Copilot or Gemini to draft letters. Without a policy, nobody knows which tools are approved or whether client data has left the firm.

Getting found for niche services

If you specialise in farm accounts, contractors, charities or cross-border clients, you need to be found for that niche on Google and in answers from ChatGPT and Perplexity.

Fixed-scope offers

How we help

Each offer has a defined scope and set of deliverables. A common route is training or the sprint first, then one automated workflow. Fixed scope, ask for a quote.

Training

A half or full day for partners and staff, using practice examples such as client letters and query responses. Includes attendance records and an AI use policy template.

Planning

A short review of how your practice runs, from onboarding to year-end, with a shortlist of AI and automation opportunities and a 90-day roadmap.

Automation

One workflow built and handed over with Make.com, Zapier or Microsoft 365, such as document requests with reminders, invoice capture or a weekly work-in-progress report.

Visibility

An SEO health check plus a baseline of how often AI tools mention your firm for the services you want to be known for, with prioritised fixes.

We teach this to accountants

Philip Weldon, our Managing Director, speaks on AI at ACCA Ireland events. The training we run for practices draws on the same material and on the systems we build for clients.

Compliance notes

  • EU AI Act Article 4: applying since 2 February 2025 and amended by the Digital Omnibus on AI in 2026, it expects organisations that use AI to take measures to support their staff’s AI literacy. For a practice that usually means training, a written AI use policy and a record of who was trained. Our workshop gives you all three.
  • Client confidentiality and GDPR: your AI use policy should say which tools are approved, what client data may go into each and how output is checked before it reaches a client.
  • Training records: check with your professional body how a session counts. We provide attendance records and session outlines.

Titan Digital provides training and technical support, not legal advice.

Common questions from practices

Is the training specific to accountancy?

Yes. We use examples from practice work, such as engagement letters, client queries, document requests and management account commentary. We also cover the confidentiality questions that matter to accountants.

Can our staff use ChatGPT with client data?

It depends on the tool, its settings and your own policy. We help you decide which tools are approved for which data and write that into a policy your team can follow. We do not give legal advice.

Where should a small practice start?

Usually with the Team AI Literacy Workshop, so everyone works from the same rules. If you want a roadmap first, start with the AI Readiness Sprint; both are fixed scope.

Can you help us get found for a niche service?

Yes. The AI Search Visibility Audit checks how Google and AI tools such as ChatGPT and Perplexity present your firm for the services you name, then lists the fixes in priority order.

Will the workshop count towards our training requirements?

Check with your professional body. We provide attendance records and a session outline to support your training records.

Do you work with UK practices, including ICAEW firms?

Yes. Training, sprints, automation and AI search audits run remotely on Teams or Zoom, and we deliver in person in Northern Ireland and in Great Britain by arrangement. See our UK page.

Do you build the automations or just advise?

We build them. The Automation Starter covers one workflow designed, built, tested and handed over with notes your team can follow, and larger projects are scoped after the AI Readiness Sprint.

Which practice tasks are best suited to automation?

Tasks that follow the same rules every time, such as document requests and reminders, moving attachments into the right client folder, or building a weekly report. Judgement calls stay with your team.
