Remarketing and retargeting, Ireland

Remarketing that brings back the people who visited your website but did not enquire or buy

Most visitors leave without booking, buying or getting in touch. We set up remarketing on Google, YouTube, Meta and LinkedIn to bring the right ones back with the right message, and measure the enquiries and sales it brings in.

The problem

Interested visitors leave every day and never come back

People compare options, get interrupted or wait until payday. Without remarketing, an interested visitor who leaves your website is gone unless they remember your name.

Remarketing shows relevant ads to people who have already shown interest: visited a service page, viewed a product, started a booking or opened your emails. Because they know you already, these campaigns can cost less per enquiry than reaching new people.

What's included

What's included in remarketing

Audiences, ads and measurement across the channels your buyers use.

Audience strategy

Audiences built from page views, product views, abandoned baskets and bookings, with time windows that match your sales cycle.

Google and YouTube

Display, YouTube and dynamic remarketing that shows people the products or services they looked at.

Meta and LinkedIn

Retargeting on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn using the Meta pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag.

Customer lists

Customer and subscriber lists used to win back past buyers, or to exclude them from ads meant for new customers.

Messages by stage

Different ads for people who browsed, compared or nearly bought, so the message matches where they are.

Frequency and exclusions

Frequency caps and exclusions, so recent buyers are not chased with ads.

How it works

How we set up remarketing

Step 1

Check tracking

We check your GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta pixel and consent set-up before building any audiences.

Step 2

Build audiences

We create audiences by page, product and behaviour, large enough to be useful.

Step 3

Create ads

We write and design ads for each audience and stage, and agree them with you.

Step 4

Measure

We report on the enquiries and sales remarketing brings in, and adjust windows, messages and budgets.

Proof

Tracking and ads for our clients

Campaigns measured on enquiries and sales.

Tourism

Geo-targeted Google Ads with call and enquiry tracking for a Westport bike hire business, so every campaign could be judged on calls and bookings.

Results

12x ROAS in 2025

We reported a 12x return on ad spend (ROAS) in 2025. Every campaign we run is judged on enquiries and sales, not clicks.

Common questions

What is the difference between remarketing and retargeting?

They mean the same thing. Google calls it remarketing; Meta, LinkedIn and others usually call it retargeting. Both show ads to people who have already visited your website or engaged with your business.

Is remarketing allowed under GDPR?

Remarketing relies on cookies and personal data, so it needs consent and a clear privacy notice. We set up the technical side, including cookie consent and Google Consent Mode. We do not give legal advice, so check your approach with your data protection adviser.

How long should people stay in a remarketing audience?

It depends on how long your buyers take to decide. A café or event might use days, a holiday booking weeks and a B2B service months. We set windows based on your sales cycle and test them.

Will people find remarketing ads annoying?

Not if they are done well. We cap how often people see ads, stop showing them to people who have bought and change the message over time.
