The problem
Guessing what people search for wastes content and ad spend
Businesses often describe their services in their own words, not the words buyers use. A page about “cycling experiences” will struggle to rank for “bike hire Westport”.
Keyword research closes that gap. It shows the searches that bring in buyers, the questions people ask before they buy, and the searches that waste money in Google Ads.

What you get
What you get from keyword research
Delivered as a spreadsheet and a short report, with a walk-through for your team.
Priority keyword themes
Related searches grouped into themes, each with a clear goal: an enquiry, a booking, a sale or a sign-up.
Search intent
Each search sorted by what the person wants: information, a comparison, a local provider or a purchase.
Keyword-to-page map
Each theme mapped to an existing page, a page to improve or a page to create, so your pages do not compete.
Questions for content
The questions buyers ask in Google and AI tools, ready to use in guides, FAQs and sales material.
Competitor gaps
Searches where competitors appear and you do not, and the pages they use to rank.
Paid search input
High-intent terms for Google Ads, plus negative keywords that stop spend on searches that will not convert.
How it works
How keyword research works
Step 1
Discovery
We talk to you about your services, best customers and margins, and review your Search Console and Google Ads data.
Step 2
Research
We gather search data for Ireland, the UK or both, using Google’s own tools and live search results.
Step 3
Prioritise
We remove irrelevant terms, group the rest into themes and rank them by value and difficulty.
Step 4
Map and hand over
You get the keyword map and report, and we walk your team through it so it gets used.
Local and AI search
Local and conversational searches
Many valuable searches include a place: a town, a county or “near me”. We include local variations for the areas you serve and check what appears in Google Maps and the local pack.
We also look at how people phrase longer questions in ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. These conversational searches show what buyers need to know, and they shape the content AI tools quote.
- Local search terms by town and county
- Question-style searches for FAQs and guides
- Seasonal patterns, such as peak tourism months

Common questions
What tools do you use for keyword research?
We use Google Search Console, Google Ads Keyword Planner and live search results, alongside your own GA4 data. Search Console is especially useful because it shows the searches your site already appears for.
How long does keyword research take?
It depends on the size of the site and the number of markets. Research for one service area is quicker than a full site plan. We agree the scope with you first: fixed scope, ask for a quote.
Is keyword research still useful with AI search?
Yes. The words and questions people use still show what they want. AI tools answer longer questions, so we include question-style searches and use them to plan content that can be quoted.
Can you write the content too?
Yes. Our content marketing service can write the pages and guides from the keyword plan, or your team can use the plan to brief writers.
