The problem

Pages that do not say what they are about rarely rank

We often find service pages with vague titles, a single heading that says “Welcome” and copy that never uses the words buyers search for. Google has to guess what the page is about, and AI tools have nothing clear to quote.

On-page SEO fixes that page by page. Each important page gets one clear topic, a title and description that earn the click, and content that answers the questions buyers ask before they get in touch.

What's included

What's included in on-page SEO

Every change is explained and approved by you before it goes live.

Titles and descriptions

Page titles and meta descriptions rewritten around the search term and a reason to click, within Google’s display limits.

Headings and structure

One H1 per page and H2s that follow how buyers phrase their questions, so pages are easy to scan and quote.

Content improvements

Copy that answers the question early, adds named examples and proof, and cuts filler, in your tone of voice.

Internal links

Links between related services, guides and case studies with descriptive anchor text, so key pages get the attention they need.

Schema markup

Organisation, service, article, FAQ and breadcrumb schema added and tested, so search engines understand each page.

Images and media

Descriptive file names, alt text and compressed images that load quickly and help accessibility.

How it works

How on-page SEO works

Step 1

Pick the pages

We use Google Search Console and GA4 to find the pages with most to gain, such as those ranking just off page one.

Step 2

Match intent

Keyword research shows what each page should target and what people searching for it want to find.

Step 3

Improve

We rewrite titles, headings and copy, add internal links and schema, and make the changes in WordPress.

Step 4

Measure

We track rankings, clicks and enquiries for each page and keep working on pages that are not moving.

Common questions

What is the difference between on-page and technical SEO?

On-page SEO improves what is on each page: titles, headings, copy, links and schema. Technical SEO deals with the site as a whole: crawling, indexing, speed, redirects and structure. Most sites need some of both, and we often run them together.

Will you change the wording on our pages?

Only with your approval. We suggest new titles, headings and copy, explain the reason for each change and keep your tone of voice. Nothing goes live until you sign it off.

How soon will we see results?

Google usually picks up changes once a page is recrawled, which can take days or weeks. Ranking changes depend on competition, so we report on each page monthly rather than promise a timeline.

Which pages should we start with?

Usually your main service or product pages, then pages that Search Console shows ranking on page two. Those are often the quickest wins.

Can you work on Shopify or Wix pages?

Yes. The principles are the same on WordPress, Shopify, BigCommerce, Squarespace and Wix. Where a platform limits what can be changed, we tell you and find the closest option.
