Fixed-scope engagement
Team AI Literacy Workshop: building confident, safe AI use across your team
AI adoption depends on people as much as licences. In a half or full day, on site or online, your staff practise with the AI tools they already have and leave with clear rules for their use. It is designed for employers in Ireland and the UK that want ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or Gemini used well, with a record to show it.

Your team leaves with practical skills, clear rules and records
- Pre-workshop check-in. A short call to establish which tools your team has, which roles will attend and how they use AI today.
- Role-based exercises. Hands-on tasks drawn from real work, such as drafting, summarising, research and analysis, in ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or Gemini.
- Safe-use rules. What not to paste into a prompt, how to check outputs, when to disclose AI use and how to handle client data.
- Attendance records. Who attended, the date, the format and the topics covered.
- AI use policy template. A plain-English template your organisation can adapt and adopt.
- Follow-up resources. Prompt guides and checklists tailored to each role.
A four-step approach, from scoping to records and follow-up
01
Agree the scope
We agree the audience, the roles, the tools in scope and whether the day runs on site or online.
02
Tailor the content
We design exercises around your team’s real tasks and adapt the safe-use rules to your sector.
03
Deliver the workshop
A half or full day that combines short demonstrations with hands-on practice and time for questions.
04
Hand over the records
We provide the attendance record, the policy template and the role-based resources after the session.
The workshop suits organisations where AI use is already under way
Article 4 of the EU AI Act, as amended in July 2026, requires organisations that provide or use AI systems to take measures to support AI literacy among their staff. The workshop is one practical way to do that and keep a record. We provide training and technical support, not legal advice.
Where it adds most value
- Your staff already use ChatGPT, Copilot or Gemini.
- You are rolling out Microsoft Copilot.
- You want training records and an AI use policy.
- Your teams are based in Ireland or the UK.
Where another approach fits better
- You need a legal opinion on the AI Act.
- You want custom AI tools built. The Automation Starter is the better route.
- Only one person needs support. One-to-one mentoring is likely to suit better.
The workshop builds capability; legal review sits with your advisers
- Licences for AI tools. We work with the tools you have or plan to buy.
- Legal review of your AI use or of your final policy.
- Formal certification of attendees.
- Building custom AI tools or automations.
The workshop draws on our training for industry and professional bodies
Motor industry
AI and digital training on SIMI Skillnet programmes, the Society of the Irish Motor Industry’s Skillnet network, designed around the tools and tasks of the businesses taking part.
Professional bodies
Philip Weldon, our Managing Director, speaks on AI at ACCA Ireland member training events, including the Annual Conference 2026 and an AI for Accountancy Practices session.
The workshop is a foundation for wider adoption across the organisation
For larger teams, our AI literacy training for employers extends the workshop into a full programme: needs assessment, sessions across departments, records and refreshers.
Once your team is confident, the AI Readiness Sprint identifies where AI and automation will save the most time and sets out a costed 90-day roadmap.

Questions clients ask us
Is this enough to meet Article 4?
That is a legal question, and we provide training and technical support, not legal advice. The workshop, attendance records and policy template are practical evidence of AI literacy training. Your adviser can confirm whether anything more is needed in your situation.
How many people can attend?
We agree group sizes during scoping. Smaller groups get more hands-on time, so larger teams usually run as several sessions by role.
Do staff need to bring anything?
A laptop with access to the AI tools your organisation uses. If you have not yet chosen a tool, we advise on what to set up beforehand.
Can you run the workshop for UK teams?
Yes. We run it online or on site for teams across Ireland and the UK.
